Aesop Serves Entire Province of Prince Edward Island

EXTON, Pa. - May 31, 2011 - Frontline Technologies Canada is pleased to announce that Eastern School District in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, has chosen Aesop to automate their substitute placement and absence management.

With Eastern School District joining the Aesop family, Aesop now serves the entire province of Prince Edward Island, as well as all of Nova Scotia and school districts across six other Canadian provinces.

Prior to choosing Aesop, Eastern School District used a provincial scheduling system that provided a web-based portal and physical call center for locating and scheduling substitutes. By switching to Aesop, Eastern School District will benefit from a Software-as-as-Service (SaaS) system that is entirely hosted and maintained by Aesop in a Toronto data center. Personnel will register absences online or over the phone, and Aesop will automatically contact qualified substitutes, who can also proactively search for jobs through the phone and web.

In July of 2010, Western School Board also switched from a local call center and provided information to Eastern School District on their experience with Aesop.
